CFESA Installation Levels
CFESA has created 3 Installation Classifications. The CFESA members that provide installation are listed on the website and also in
the directory and have their installation levels included.
Description of Installation Levels:
- Level I -
Installation or replacement of the same or similar, existing pieces of foodservice equipment in an existing foodservice establishment.
- Level II -
Installation of new equipment for entire kitchens during remodel or construction phase, to include receiving, warehousing, consolidation of
equipment and delivery for each phase of installation, assembly, set in place, leveled, caulked and trimmed as needed, with final
connections made, started up and tested.
- Level III -
Level III includes all of Levels I & II and may include complex refrigeration systems, hoods and/or on site equipment fabrication
assembly. Companies listed as Level III should be contacted to verify the specific services they can provide.”
Look for service companies that perform equipment installation by level under their listing on the CFESA website as set in the example below:
