Region 1 Meeting

Regional Meeting:

The Region 1 meeting, held October 18, was organized and hosted by JC Curran and Dan Bernheisel, Hi-Tech Commercial Service in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 14 attendees represented the states of California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Additionally, there were attendees from British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. The discussion revolved around topics such as fuel surcharges, alternative vehicles, collections/handling bad debt and when to release a line. “A number of ideas were exchanged and we all took something new back to the companies we represent,” quoted one attendee.

The next Region 1 meeting is tentatively scheduled for the fall of 2009. The location is between Reno, NV and San Francisco, CA. “Of course, we are always open for suggestions and feedback because this is your association and we invite your participation,” quoted attendee Juan Martinez, Cal West Service, Inc., who was also elected the new Region 1 leader. “On behalf of those who attended the meeting, we would like to thank Hi-Tech Commercial Service for an outstanding job in hosting a successful meeting.”
