2008 Region Meeting:

Region 6 held their meeting on December 6, 2008, at Garland Commercial Range, Mississauga, Canada. There were 40 attendees, representing 20 CFESA member companies. Special thanks to Garland president Jacques Seguin and Garland Director of Parts and Service, Carole Ann Hattle for their gracious hospitality. Featured speakers and topics included CFESA board member Wayne Stoutner who walked attendees through the CFESA website and newly-developed CFESA Forum, Tim Horton’s Ms. Malkin Singleton’s and the "Challenges of a Franchisor and Where Service Fits." Ron LeBlanc, Choquette-CKS Ottawa provided a compelling recount of his personal experience with disaster planning. And, finally, the meeting concluded with Steve Craig, Manager of Training Programs with Everpure, covering the subject of "What Is Customer Service and Training Field Staff." Thanks also to Steve Vollmer and his staff for planning and executing an excellent event.
