CFESA EGS Training Class The CFESA EGS Class covers the basic elements of gas, electric, steam for repairing and troubleshooting commercial food equipment. This six day training class is open to all technicians within the foodservice industry and is held throughout the year in various regional locations. Training is from entry-level to advanced. All technician training programs include classroom and hands-on education and testing on the ability to identify and correct problems on many types of commercial cooking equipment. Qualifications: Technicians must be familiar with electric, gas and steam theory, must have basic mechanical aptitude and must have 6 months to 3 years experience in the foodservice industry. Technicians must be dedicated to maintaining a learning environment. Attendee Responsibilities: Class Attendees will be responsible for their own hotel reservations and their own transportation to and from the hotel/airport. The hotel provides shuttle service please call the hotel for more information. Hotel offers free continental breakfast. You are responsible for all dinners. Attendees will be provided with lunch each day. If the attendee is driving to the class, please bring some basic tools with you. If you are flying we do not expect you to carry any tools with you. EGS Training Class Registration fee: $550.00 per technician for CFESA Members, $1100.00 per technician for non-members. As a representative of my company I understand that by completing and submitting this CFESA no Solicitation Tolerance Policy my company and all its employees agree that no solicitation of technicians or employees of any kind will take place before, during or after the training sessions.
