Refrigeration Training

Refrigeration Training Class is a four day course specifically designed to cover the basic principles of refrigeration.  The course focuses on introductory concepts including the basic operation of domestic refrigerators, freezers, defrost mechanisms, and electrical circuits.  Topics covered include the laws of refrigeration, compression cycle, latent and sensible heat, methods of heat transfer, and methods of cutting, bending, and torching tubing. 

Curriculum

Must be a CFESA Certified Electrical Technician. Must have EPA Certified Recovery line I and II.

  • Class Dates: November 3-6, 2008

  • Class Times: Class will start each morning at 8:00 am and run until 5:00 pm each day.

  • Hotel Reservations: You are responsible for making your hotel reservations when you register for the class.

  • Shuttle service will be provided from this hotel to the Training facility each day. The shuttle leaves at 7:15 a.m. each morning of the training class. When registering, please indicate if you will need shuttle service. Thank you.

Registration:

If you would like to register online, please click here or download the fax in registration form fill it out and fax it to: 336-346-4745. Register by the assigned registration deadlines.  Once you have registered, you will receive a letter of acceptance, with an invoice for registration fees. Fees are non-refundable.  If you cannot make the class and have to cancel, you will automatically be registered for the next training class.  There will be no refunds issued.

  • Registration Deadline: October 24, 2008

  • Costs: The registration fee is $550.00 per technician (Members Price); and $1100.00 per technician (Non-Member Price)

  • Expenses:  The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast, and lunch will be provided each day at the training center. Transportation to and from the training center each day will also be provided. You will be responsible for your own transportation fees to and from the airport to the hotel, along with your meals each evening.
